A young boy named Abacus comes home to find his dysfunctional mother missing. Little does he know that she has been drawn into a malevolent plot lead by a demon named Skellum. Abacus embarks on a mythic journey to find her. Along the way he must navigate a dark, elaborate and strangely visceral world.

Christopher Levoy Bower is a writer, director and producer. His short film Solatrium premiered at Slamdance and garnered praise from Wired.com as being “Sleek Sci-fi”. Bower’s feature screenplay based on Solatrium, Moon Europa, was work-shopped at The Gotham’s Narrative Rough Cut Lab and won the Daniel De LaVergne Media Arts Award. Bower’s horror/comedy screenplay Delivery Death was accepted to participate in The Gotham’s Emerging Narratives program. Indiewire calls Bower’s documentary, We Won’t Bow Down, about the Mardi Gras Indians of New Orleans, “something new and unexpected”. He was also a participant in Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film school in Munich, and has been mentored by Herzog since.
